How to Play Sliding Puzzle

The sliding puzzle is a classic brain teaser that tests your problem-solving skills and spatial reasoning.

Game Rules

  • Click on a tile adjacent to the empty space to slide it into that position
  • Continue moving tiles until they are arranged in numerical order from left to right, top to bottom
  • The empty space should end up in the bottom-right corner when solved
  • The puzzle is complete when all numbers are in the correct sequence

Tips and Strategies

  • Solve row by row - Start by solving the top row, then the second row, and so on
  • Focus on corners - Position tiles in the corners first, then fill in the rest
  • The 2x2 pattern - For the last few tiles, you may need to rotate tiles in a 2x2 pattern
  • Practice - The more you play, the better you'll understand tile movement patterns

Challenge Yourself

  • Start with smaller grids (3x3) and work your way up to more difficult sizes
  • Try to solve the puzzle in the minimum number of moves possible
  • Race against the clock to improve your solving speed
  • Develop your own solving method and optimize it over time
